HALLOWEEN

Another fabulous year done and dusted down in the ghoulish Gilbert & Wrights Sitting Room pub.  

I painted on Saturday night and as always, the crowds of people at the G & W Halloween experience were fantastically costumed and kitted out. 

I didn't have my camera that night and there was no photographer either, which was odd.  Those whom I painted on:  you know who you are and you're welcome.  

 

I came back on the Sunday to paint a couple friends before they went off to their respective Halloween parties elsewhere and I ended up having a queue!  I wasn't expecting to stay there at all but I did.  I have to say that the quality of faces and concepts for facepaint were much cooler than on Saturday night.  Maybe it was the people, my looming hangover and sleep-deprivation or that I took my godsdamn time cos of all of these factors, who knows.  unfortunately I didn't get photos again and have had to rely on photos taken and sent to me by those that I painted on.  Unfortunately I didn't get half the photos back but I'm sure there are some wonderful profile pictures courtesy of me floating around out there..

 

I have to thanks and send my adoration and love out to my wonderful muse Ashy.  Her face has inspired me throughout the years, both verbally and just being a willing canvas.  I have to send out good vibes to the constant highlight of not only my Halloweens but every other day of the year.  You're the bestest friend a wandering Diceperson could ever ask for.

 

What better end to the night other than I got up and finished the open mic session with a slightly sticky rendition of the Life of Brian's "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life".  

 

The night could be rounded up into three words:  Glitter, glitter and glitter!
